A modern living room in vibrant colours and soft textures is the theme of this page, with three Cantori pieces that bring it comfort: the Gregory Sofa, the Twist Armchair and the Shanghai Sideboard. The gallery below shows fixed velvet and upholstered sofas, an end table, chairs, a chest of drawers and a vetrine.

Tufting from backrest to armrests

The Gregory Sofa by Cantori is tufted over the whole backrest and both armrests. That surface makes a coloured fabric look richer, because light catches each fold. Its metal feet are part of the perimeter, supporting the armrests and wrapping around the seat. It comes in 250 or 306 cm. The frame is solid beech and poplar with plywood inserts, and the seat rests on non-deformable elastic webbing.

Swivel or fixed: the Twist Armchair

The Twist Armchair by Cantori is made in a swivel and a fixed version. Choose the swivel where one chair must face both the sofa and a window or dining area, and the fixed one where it stays against a wall. The back is twisted bands with exposed handle details on a metal structure. Complete groupings are shown among the italian living room sets.

A sideboard with a coloured interior

The Shanghai Sideboard by Cantori measures H 82 x W 240 x D 52 cm and opens on an interior lacquered in Moroccan earth colour, with a glass shelf. Its top can match the door finish or be marble, leather, eco-leather or fabric. Forged metal feet sit at the four corners. To carry the colour into the bedroom, see the modern italian bedroom page.
