This page covers the Venere classic living room collection, shown below in sofas, a swivel sofa, coffee tables, a TV stand, a console, a desk and display cabinets. Three current Francesco Pasi pieces follow, chosen for a classic room of similar scale and use.
A six-cushion sofa at the centre
The Gran Guardia Sofa with 6 Cushions by Francesco Pasi is 240 cm wide, at H 104 x D 92 cm. It comes in Luxury Retro Cherry, Cream, Hazelnut, White, Coffee or Retro Walnut.
A sofa of this length needs a wall of its own, with the coffee table centred in front of it. The Venere photographs show a fixed and a swivel sofa; the carved model takes the place of the fixed one in a more formal room. In a narrower room, choose a shorter high end italian sofa or a loveseat.
A wall unit with hand-carved cherry
Francesco Pasi carves the Gran Guardia Wall Unit 2043 entirely by hand in solid cherry. Doors and drawers are solid wood, 34 mm.
Facing the sofa, the wall unit takes the role of the Venere TV stand and sideboard in one piece. Carving on a piece this size reads from the far side of the room, so it sets the level of detail for the rest.
A display cabinet that locks
Silverware or porcelain can go in the New Deco Display Cabinet, One Door, by Francesco Pasi, which has a side lock. Its uprights are solid cherry, 60 mm.
A lock is worth having when the cabinet holds collected pieces in a room used for receiving guests. Sofa, wall unit and cabinet together form the core of luxury lounge furniture for a formal room.
