This page covers the Gran Guardia classic living room, made of natural wood: carved showcases with sliding doors, one in cream with gold leaf, and carved chests in white or brown with silver leaf. Three current Francesco Pasi pieces follow for a similar room with seating and storage.
Carving and leaf in Gran Guardia
Gran Guardia is defined by carved natural wood with leaf finishes. Its living room pieces include carved showcases with sliding doors, one of them in cream with gold leaf, and white or brown carved chests with silver leaf.
The carved chests ran from 130 to 205 cm long. Beyond the living room, the collection also takes in tables, armchairs, chairs, wardrobes, consoles and mirrors.
A three-seater with leaf details
The Opera 3-Seater Sofa by Francesco Pasi measures H 105 x W 235 x D 92 cm. Its frame carries gold leaf or silver leaf details.
Leaf on the sofa frame repeats the leaf on the chests, which ties the seating to the walls. Smaller italian settees fit between showcases where a full sofa will not.
An equipped wall and a two-tone showcase
The New Deco Equipped Wall with Natural Panels by Francesco Pasi has doors and drawers in solid cherry, 34 mm, finished in cherry, lacquer or Luxury. Next to it, the New Deco Bicolor Showcase Cabinet, from the same maker, comes in natural cherry, white, grey or sand lacquer, or Luxury.
With the sofa, these two pieces make one of the high end living room sets that suit a carved classic room.
