This page covers the Balzac classic living room collection, a range of upholstered sofas, armchairs and tables in the European classic style. Three current Francesco Pasi pieces follow for a larger room: a three-seater sofa, a TV stand with a shelf and a display cabinet.

Balzac: compact upholstered seating

Balzac grouped a small upholstered sofa, a matching armchair and the round Imperio coffee table. At 123 cm long, the Balzac sofa suited a smaller living room.

Sofa and armchair shared a height of 94 cm, so the backs lined up when the two stood side by side. The round Imperio coffee table measured 60 cm across and 77 cm high.

A three-seater for a larger room

The Opera 3-Seater Sofa by Francesco Pasi is 235 cm wide, almost twice the Balzac sofa. Gold leaf or silver leaf details pick out its frame.

Where Balzac furnished a corner, a three-seater furnishes the main wall. Compare other italian designer sofas if the room is closer to the Balzac scale.

Storage: TV stand and display cabinet

Francesco Pasi's New Deco TV Stand with Shelf has solid cherry uprights of 60 mm and a back in Tanganyika walnut plywood, 8 mm. The Opera Display Cabinet 3025, by the same maker, has uprights in solid wood, 80 mm, with carving finished by hand, and gold or silver leaf decoration.

A low stand and a tall cabinet on the facing wall balance the long line of the sofa. Sofa, stand and cabinet together form an italian living room set for a classic room.
