Covered here: the Meteora classic living room, with its semi-circular high-back sofa, armchairs and coffee table, and showcases and a TV panel carrying hand-carved applications. Current Francesco Pasi pieces then show how to plan a room with the same wooden frames and carved detail.

What did the Meteora set include?

A sofa, armchairs and a coffee table formed the seating, all on wooden frames. The sofa was semi-circular with a high back, and the showcases, TV unit and combination panel carried hand-carved applications. The photographs below show the Meteora living room.

How do you pair a sofa with a leather armchair?

Keep the frames in one wood tone and let the upholstery differ. The Opera 3-Seater Sofa by Francesco Pasi measures H 105 x W 235 x D 92 cm and takes gold leaf or silver leaf details. Beside it, the New Deco Capitonne Leather Armchair by Francesco Pasi sets leather on a solid cherry frame finished in cherry, lacquer or Luxury. Pick a leather a shade darker than the sofa fabric so the chair reads as a deliberate accent. For more seating, browse our luxury designer sofas.

Where does the console stand?

Stand it against the longest free wall or behind the sofa. The Opera Console with Marble Top by Francesco Pasi is H 84 x W 160 x D 42 cm, wide enough to balance a three-seater, on a structure of blockboard 25 mm veneered in cherry. Lamps at each end of the console frame the wall and light the room from the side. Group it with matching pieces from an italian living room set.
