Velvet and brass in Signature

Signature dresses most of its pieces in soft velvet and adds gold brass on the dressing table. The bed, benches, bedside table and chest of drawers are all upholstered, and a quilted headboard gives the bed its Art Deco tone. The headboard is the feature that pulls the whole design together. One brass piece is enough; repeated on every surface it would compete with the velvet.

A headboard with vertical inserts

The Bars Bed by Dall'Agnese, designed by Zaven, has a padded headboard with vertical inserts in matt lacquer or a wood finish. Its bed frame is padded with polyurethane foam and covered in bonded fabric. Vertical lines on the headboard give a quieter version of the Signature focal point.
