A wooden shell headboard
The Volume Bed by Dall'Agnese has a headboard made as a curved shell of veneered plywood, varnished in the wood finishes; a partial cushion can be added. It stands on conical metal feet painted in the metal finishes. The frame is veneered medium-density wood with a central crosspiece and support foot. The storage version adds a box with black matt lacquered panels.

Pleated and padded storage
The Mochi Dresser by Epoque, from the Exence collection, has pleated fronts with diagonal metal handles and a top in mirror, lacquer or gres; metal, mother-of-pearl or glitter finishes are available with a surcharge. The Cromo Nightstand by Epoque pairs padded fronts in fabric or leather with a lacquered or veneered body. Its top can be lacquer, veneer, mirror or gres.
