This page covers the Monte Napoleone classic bedroom, a full set from bed and nightstand to bench, mirror and lamps, and the Francesco Pasi pieces for a similar room now. It focuses on mirrored storage, buttoned leather upholstery and carved bedside furniture in matching tones.
What was in the Monte Napoleone set?
The set included a bed, a two-drawer nightstand, a three-drawer chest, an upholstered bench, a mirror, a table lamp and a floor lamp. Its drawers carried hand painting, and the carved detail was made by hand. The bed and bench used natural wood frames under fine fabric.
How do mirrored wardrobe doors help a bedroom?
Mirrored doors add light and replace a separate full-length mirror. The Gran Guardia Wardrobe 2066 by Francesco Pasi has two sliding doors with bronzed mirrors, so nothing swings into the room.
Bronzed glass reflects with a warmer tint than a clear mirror, which suits cherry and cream tones. Its carving is made entirely by hand in solid cherry. Similar pairings are shown among our luxury bedroom sets.
Which bed and nightstand pair with it?
A buttoned leather bed and a carved nightstand give the right contrast. The New Deco Bed with Buttoned Leather Headboard, also by Francesco Pasi, has its shaped headboard on solid cherry 45 mm thick.
The Opera Nightstand 3055 offers gold or silver leaf and solid wood uprights 80 mm thick with hand-finished carving. More pieces in this vein are in our classic italian style furniture.
