What Velvet Adds to the Price

The velvet surcharge changes from model to model. On Iseo, range 3 costs the same as range 2 fabric; on George it is the largest step among the models shown here. Rivoli and the Rivoli Sofa Bed are offered in range 2 and range 3 only.

Sizes: From 170 to 290 cm

Cantori velvet sofas start at 170 cm with Rivoli and reach 290 cm with Atenae. Most three-seat models measure between 225 and 290 cm wide.

Sofa Bed

The Rivoli Sofa Bed comes 170, 200 or 230 cm wide and 100 cm deep; opened, the bed reaches 235 cm. The fixed Rivoli sofa shares the same three widths, 90 cm high.

Velvet or Leather for an Italian Sofa

Velvet absorbs light, so the same colour reads deeper and softer than in leather; leather reflects light and shows its grain. Velvet suits a room where the sofa carries the colour, leather a room where it has to stay neutral.
