Moustique, a bedroom collection built on Canaletto walnut, myrtle briar root, marble and brass, is what this page covers. Materials of the Moustique collection
Moustique joins Canaletto walnut and briar root of myrtle with Rain Forest, Emperador and Calacatta Gold marbles from the Vagli quarries in Tuscany. Brass in an ancient bronze finish and titanium is the main metal, and nubuck and suede cover the soft parts. The gallery includes the Alfred, Flag, Florence, Julius, Memento and Manhattan beds and the Nautilus walk-in closet.
Hand-applied metal on a current bed
The J'Adore Padded Frame Bed by Cantori, designed by Loriano Barani, has a headboard laser-cut from steel plate, then curved, brushed and polished by hand. Its champagne silver leaf is also applied by hand. The Ocean Vanity Table by Francesco Pasi, fully lacquered, has drawers in 28 mm solid wood and decoration in gold leaf or chrome leaf.
For a dressing area beside the bed, an italian modern cabinet adds closed storage.
Mirrored storage for a master bedroom
The Musa Wardrobe by Francesco Pasi uses two sliding doors with horizontal mirror panels, so it needs no swing space in front. Inside, a drawer unit runs on soft-closing runners. The remaining pieces of luxury master bedroom furniture are on the bedroom page.
