This page covers furnishing hotel suites in the vibrant, lacquered spirit of the Exence collection. It sets out three current Italian pieces for a suite: a padded bed with a removable cover, a lacquered dresser and a dressing table, with the facts that matter when you specify them for a hotel.

A bed whose cover can change

The George Bed by Cantori has a padded frame with a removable cover in fabric, velvet or leather. A hotel can refresh a room by changing that cover rather than replacing the bed. Its cast feet are hand-decorated with champagne, silver or gold leaf. In the bed frame version the slatted base is not included. More beds appear in our italian home furniture range.

Colour and sheen in the dressing area

Lacquer is what brings colour and sheen to the dressing area of a suite. The Krypton Dresser by Epoque, part of the Exence line, has a body lacquered in gloss or matt, a lacquered top and sculpted metal handles. Beside it, the Ellipse Dressing Table by Francesco Pasi measures H 87 x W 150 x D 58 cm. Its structure is lacquered in 100 Gloss or matt Bianco, Avorio, Tortora, Grigio Milano or Noce Milano, under a 29 mm cherry top, and a leather version clads the legs in leather. For lounges and lobbies, see our high end furniture.

Planning a suite around the bed

Plan a suite from the bed size, then fit the dresser and dressing table to the walls that remain. The George Bed takes mattresses 160, 180 or 200 cm wide by 200 cm long, so a larger suite can take the widest size without a change of model. Exence was meant to bring a luxurious, vibrant setting to hotels, where guests should feel as relaxed as at home.
