The subject here is the Hoffman modern living room, a collection where every piece, large or small, was planned to sit in order. The gallery below shows its compositions, sideboards, armchairs and dining pieces. Above are three current pieces for the same tidy room, from Cantori and Epoque.

A sofa with a feather-wrapped seat

The Portofino Sofa by Cantori wraps its removable seat cushion in channelled goose feather over high-resilience foam. The solid beech frame carries soft quilting on the inner side of the backrest, and a metal band runs around the back perimeter. It measures H 85 x W 286 x D 115 cm. Beneath the cushions, padding is expanded polyurethane in different densities, and the suspension is elastic webbing rich in natural rubber.

Storage on two iron branches

The Albero Bookcase by Cantori stands on wrought iron bent into two load-bearing branches. Tray shelves sit between them, lacquered, decorated or covered in econabuk. It comes in 200 and 300 cm versions. The Hoffman gallery below shows the same order at room scale: a Thomas wall composition, Kate and Keith sideboards, Ralph and Lawrence armchairs and a Chris central table. An upholstered coffee table

The Cromo Upholstered Coffee Table by Epoque, from the Exence collection, has a body upholstered in fabric or leather. It matches the Cromo sofa from the same range. A soft table is practical in a family room, with no hard edges at knee height. For the bedroom, look at the luxury designer beds.
