The Moustique page is about a young, modern living room and three Cantori pieces that carry its energy: the Twist Sofa, the Aurora Iron Back Armchair and the Tropea Console Table. The gallery below shows the Moustique collection, with its sofas, armchairs, consoles and coffee tables.
Why the Twist Sofa suits a young modern room
The Twist Sofa by Cantori suits a young modern room because its back is a sculpted form, not a plain panel. Moulded bands twist across the backrest, with finished edges and exposed stitching, fixed onto a metal structure. It measures H 83 x W 243 x D 105 cm, and the back cushions mix 70% goose down with polyester fibre flakes. Below, a CNC-routed poplar plywood base sits on a frame of shaped and welded tubular steel.
Iron bars instead of a padded back
The Aurora Iron Back Armchair by Cantori swaps a padded back for iron bars fitted together without welding. The seat is profiled wood padded with two-density rubber, with a cushion on top, and the chair measures H 81.5 x W 65.5 x D 83.1 cm. Placed beside the Twist, it lets light through the seating group. For whole groupings, start from the italian living room set options.
A console finished by hand
The Tropea Console Table by Cantori is the piece where handwork shows most. Its curved iron structure receives finishing, decoration, patina and leaf applied entirely by hand. Choose the 180 cm version for a long wall behind the sofa, or 120 cm for an entrance. To pair it with a low table, browse the italian designer coffee table selection.
