Infinity is a modern living room built on shiny polyester Brazilian Makore, gold accents, precious fabrics, nubuck leather and ceramics, and this page covers it. Its gallery shows buffets, consoles, cocktail tables, armchairs and a glass-door vitrine. Three current Cantori pieces show how to plan a similar room.

Which materials defined Infinity?

Gloss Makore, gold accents, nubuck and ceramics defined it, with Murano chandeliers and vases completing the room. The photographs below show the Infinity collection, from its buffet and console to round metal cocktail tables. Today a similar effect comes from bronze, marble and hand quilting.

How do you seat a large modern room?

Use a corner sofa for the main group and swivel chairs for flexibility. The Montecarlo Angular Sofa by Cantori measures H 85 x W 355 x D 170 cm, and two laser-cut bronzed metal plates wrap around it. The Portofino Armchair by Cantori turns on a metal swivelling base with a return-to-position system, and its padding and quilting are made entirely by hand. See full luxury living room sets.

What table suits a bronze-toned room?

A low table in marble or smoked glass suits it. The George Coffee Table by Cantori has feet in cast aluminium decorated in champagne silver leaf. Its top is shaped, polished marble, or bronzed smoked glass joined to a bronzed mirror. Keep the rug beneath it plain so the top stays visible. If the scheme continues upstairs, carry these tones into a modern italian bedroom.
